on stock or upgraded normal layout pipes. If the turbo has to make 17 psi to put 15 psi in the manifold regaining that 2 psi loss adds no additional heat load typically associated with raising the boost. Of course you're still left with increased charge mass but that's only part of the equation.
I don't have any hard numbers though on system pressure drops.
